The points under "12 months" and "2 months" are the total points you've accumulated over the past 12 months and 2 months, respectively. The points over the past 2 months are the ones used in the leader board. You can obtain check in points by clicking on the check in button; you can click once per day and clicking on consecutive days gives you more points.
