The 2020 Online ZIML Convention will be held on Friday, August 14th starting at 4pm Pacific Time.
Competition Schedule
- 4:00-5:00pm Pacific Time: Individual Round 1
- 20 Multiple Choice Questions
- Time Limit of 45 Minutes
- Must be completed during the 60 minute time interval
- 5:10-5:50pm Pacific Time: Individual Round 2
- 5 Numerical (integer or decimal) Questions
- Time Limit of 25 Minutes
- Must be completed during the 40 minute time interval
- 6:00-6:45pm Pacific Time: Kahoot Round
- Compete in General STEM Knowledge Quizzes
- Not used in competition scoring
- 7:00pm Pacific Time: Awards Ceremony
Registration Fee
- Individual Fee: $30
- Groups of 5 or more: $20 per student
- Groups must register in one transaction

Competition Divisions
- Division E
- Open to all students who have not started grade 6
- Covers the same topics as Division E Monthly Contests
- Division M
- Open to all students who have not started grade 9
- Covers the same topics as Division M Monthly Contests
- Division H
- Open to all students who have not graduated high school
- Covers the same topics as Junior Varsity and Varsity Monthly Contests
Cash Prizes
- For each division:
- 1st Prize: $200
- 2nd Prize: $100
- 3rd Prize: $50
- Detailed scoring information, including tie-breakers will be available after registration
- To be eligible for a cash prize, students must be proctored by a teacher or parent during the competition
Fall Course Special Offer
Students who register for the 2020 Online ZIML Convention and then register for a live course during the Fall Term will receive their Fall Term textbook for free. (Includes shipping to US addresses. Contact us for shipping information.)
