Near the bottom of the solution of #5, it says "Thus, Jerry shares his candies with 7 friends", however, the answer is 8 because I assume it includes Jerry in the count.
But the question asks "how many friends does Jerry share his candies with?", so the final answer should not count Jerry himself, right? Should not the answer be 7?

I thought exactly the same. Given the question was "how many friends does Jerry share his candies with", shouldn't the right answer be 7 instead of 8?

The intended answer was 8 (including Jerry) but I agree the wording and solution were unclear. We'll also be accepting 7 as a correct answer for the contest and will be updating the wording to make it more clear.
I'll work on making sure all the grades are updated correctly this morning.
