Competition Schedule
- The 2021 International ZIML Convention will be held Saturday August 7th, 2021 as a hybrid online and onsite event.
- Students attending online will have access via ziml.areteem.org and Zoom to the competition and additional activities.
- Check-in for the onsite convention will be held at Areteem Headquarters at 23832 Rockfield Blvd, Suite 155, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
- Schedule of Events (all times Pacific):
- 12-1pm: Check-in and Welcome
- 1-4pm: ZIML Competition Events (details will be posted on the convention page after registration)
- 4-5pm: Guest Speaker
- 5-5:30pm: Awards Ceremony
- There will be a small social with snacks for those attending the onsite convention. Parents are invited to join for the guest speaker and the awards ceremony.
Registration Fee
- Onsite Individual Fee: $50
- Online Individual Fee: $30
- Online group of 5 or more: $20 per student (online only)
- Groups must register in one transaction

Competition Divisions
- Division E
- Open to all students who have not started grade 6.
- Covers the same topics as the Division E Monthly Contests.
- Division M
- Open to all students who have not started grade 9.
- Covers the same topics as the Division M Monthly Contests.
- Junior Varsity
- Open to all students who have not graduated high school.
- Covers the same topics as the Junior Varsity Monthly Contests.
- Varsity with Masters Round
- Open to all students who have not graduated high school.
- Covers the same topics as the Varsity Monthly Contests. Additionally, students compete in the proof-based Masters Round.
Cash Prizes
- Cash prizes will be available for each division, details coming soon!
- To be eligible for a cash prize, students must be proctored by a teacher or parent during the competition
