Zoom International Math League

I do daily magic on the ZIML app. Sometimes the problem is easy and sometimes it is hard for me. But I am currently working the AoPS volume 1 for basics systematically. That way I might build a stronger foundation for all aspects eventually. Also, our whole family do daily math as a routine just from any source, ziml, MathLeague, MathCounts, AMC 8-12 , AIME,etc. we also signed up 30 MathLeague Relay Challenge and any online or onsite math competitions (such as HMMT, MOAA, etc) possible to keep the competition mood going and ready at anytime. That way’s we can get timely and more frequent feedbacks other than yearly AMC. We cannot wait for ZIML monthly competition that is soon open for registration. AMC 8-12 is only once a year, so the feedback is kinda of slow. We also found that participating more competitions helps with not only keep knowledge points in checks but also connecting with old and new math friends . Math is becoming more and more fun for both life and school. Math is more and more appreciated as a pure fine arts for our family now. It brought so much joys to us , either we solved a tough problem or still trying to figure out another tough ones. But over times, math seems is not just calculating or solving problems, it’s about the understanding in a conceptual way. And yes I total love the way you said about the simplicity of explanation any complicated concepts as well. learning math also helps us improve the language in reading comprehension and writing logically. So in short, naturally falling in love with math becomes a motivation of tackling problems whenever and whatever we can grab one, or even make one of our own. I feel once the passion is there, the routine is a natural part. Hope you enjoy math as well. The best,
