For today's Daily Magic Spell Discussion, we will look at the spell given on January 3, 2017.
Problem: The sum of ten numbers is $360$. What is the average of the ten numbers?
Solution: The average is found as follows: $360 \div 10 = 36$.
This problem requires one to understand the definition of the average. A common difficulty that may arise in determining the average of the ten numbers is to try and figure out what the ten numbers are. However this is unnecessary since the average is defined to be the sum of the $10$ numbers and divide it by $10$. We simply perform the division computation.
